My New Year’s Wish For You

This holiday season there are many people who are merry, and there are many others who are not. This is for the them. My New Year’s wish for you.

I Wish You Knew that You are Enough

You are enough. You are worthy of a life worth living, of true love and friendship and are beautifully unique. Lift your head up high because everyone has fallen, and some of us struggle with money, body image and self-doubt. We are all flawed fallen angels with no stones to cast. In fact, in my life I’ve found that the hardest person to forgive is myself.

I Wish For You to Let Go and Start with a Blank Slate

My wish for you is for you to mentally wipe your slate clean. Work on letting go of the definitions and labels that your past has imposed upon you and that you have accepted. Reject them because you are more. Cast them off and instead, define your present self and decide who your future self will be. It is never too late to live, work on yourself, and change.

Set Yourself Up for Success

Start small with your New Year’s resolutions. Pick one positive practice, from meditating to taking one minute every morning to repeat over and over any positive messages your heart needs to hear. Let me repeat that….positive messages that YOUR heart needs to hear. Forget the mainstream resolutions and pick a resolution that changes your mindset. Put one foot in front of the other.

Happy New Year my friend. I wish you a year full of turning some of that love inward.

Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we ever will do. – Brene Brown
